As a lifelong student of Religion and Mysticism Greg has personally been involved with and studied the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church of Canada, the Spiritualist Church, the Wiccan Church of Canada, Alexandrian Witchcraft, Orthodox Judaism, and the Church of the Hidden Light as well as taking a Baccalaureate in Religions and Cultures and being involved in a number of exorcisms and house clearings. Throughout, Greg has always sought the similarities which form the basis of all religions and in each tradition was drawn to the mysticism which underlies its outer trappings. Through this study he has accessed the occult foundations of the Western Mysteries and discovered a deep understanding of the nature of the Divine and the Universe as a whole.
During his near death experience in 1997 he was given instructions as to his life's work as a spiritual teacher but that he would have to first walk the Path of Suffering. Within 18 months he was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative bone disease which even now inflicts pain and physical limitations on his day to day life. The second half of this instruction remained a mystery until January 2003 when he was appointed the Director of Probationers in Canada for the Fraternity of the Hidden Light and became responsible for administrating the very courses in Magic and Occultism that he had himself studied as a young adult. Since that time he has been working with international students spanning half the globe from the US and Canada to Eastern and Northern Europe and has earned the respect of his students, peers and the Chief Adepts of the Order that he serves.
Having taken his degree in Religions and Cultures as well as engaging in extensive fieldwork in that area Greg has lectured at both the University of Ottawa and Nipissing University in North Bay. His success in working with students of the Order and those in an academic setting combined with urging from peers and students alike has encouraged Greg to offer open lectures and workshops. By doing so he is now sharing his more than twenty years of experience and training in Occult Science and the Western Mystery Tradition outside of a formal academic setting.
